FireKeepers to hand out money

Emmett Township, Michigan

This Friday Firekeepers Casino will be handing out money to local governments.  

The casino opened in August of 2009 and part of its agreement to pay out two percent of the revenue from slot machines.  This will make it possible to see how much money has been made so far and what the casino is on track to do for a year.  I hope that they are doing really well because revenues fund such needed progams like elders care, medical care, police protection, fire protection, culture and language classes....
