Two Wolves

Wolf
m we (Pronouced muh-way)

One evening an old Potawatomi told his
grandson about a battle that goes on inside
people, he said, "My son, the battle is between
two wolves it is inside all of us."

One is Evil.  It is anger, envy, sorrow, greed
guilt, lies, false pride, and ego.
The other one is good.  It is is joy, peace, love,
hope, humility, kindness, empathy, generosity,
truth, compassion and faith.

The grandson thought about it for a minute and
then asked his grandfather:  "Which wolf wins?"
The old Potawatomi replied, "The one you feed."

Told by Potawatomi elder
