The Citizen Potawatomi Nation located in the state of Oklahoma said to be one of the most progressive tribes, the tribe has recently got into banking.

The Citizen Potawatomi Nation also owns a 84,000 square foot, full service grocery store, restaurant, travel plaza, bakery, deli and a promotional products company.  They even own a golf course.  Showing the importance of diversifying and investing money to better meet the needs of the tribe.
